The fairy tale "THE ICE PLANT" is a classic style story, set in a fantastic and imaginary realm, in which magical and mysterious events take place, and where singular and curious characters move. The young protagonist Jhon, is faced with some curious adventures, which allegorically represent the difficulties of life necessary to grow, mature, and become aware of themselves, to achieve the much desired happiness. The peculiarity, which makes this fairy tale unique, is the surprising ending not a "happy ending", but totally in line with the natural cycle of life, and the pedagogical aspect of the fairy tale.
