È il primo di una serie di racconti che fa un calzolaio di Trastevere (Pietro Russo) descrivendo il suo rapporto con un ispettore capo di Polizia (Antonio Cosentino) che da cliente si è trasformato in amico. In questo racconto accade uno strano episodio che sconvolge un condominio di Via Crescenzio, nel quartiere Prati. Due coniugi vengono trovati morti nel cortile dopo essere precipitati dall'ottavo piano. Con l'aiuto del suo braccio destro, l'agente Valentina Rinaldi, Cosentino inizia le indagini di rito seguendo diverse piste. This book is the first in a series of short tales that a shoemaker from Trastevere (Pietro Russo) tells describing his relationship with a chief inspector of police (Antonio Cosentino) who has turned from a client into a friend. In this story, a strange episode happens that upsets a condominium in Via Crescenzio, in the Prati district. Two spouses are found dead in the courtyard after falling from the eighth floor. With the help of Valentina Rinaldi, his right arm, Cosentino starts to investigate several tracks. Firstly among the inhabitants of the building an then where the couple work.
